Bethesda University offers four graduate programs such as: Master of Arts in Biblical Studies, Master of Divinity (M.Div.), Master of Arts in Music and Master & Business Administration(MBA).

Students must have official notification of admission before they will be allowed to register for classes. When applying to the Main Campus (LA), please submit the documents below.

Additional Requirements for International Applicants:

All international students need to demonstrate English proficiency in order to be considered for admission to BU.  The minimum TOEFL (PBT) score of 525, (or 70 IBT, 6.0 IELTS) is required for international applicants.  

Students who do not have official TOEFL score need to take the ESL Placement test. The test consists of five sections: reading comprehension, listening, and writing, speaking and language use. As deemed necessary by the program director, there may also be an oral interview.  

Those students who score at the high intermediate level or above on the BELL Placement test may waive the TOEFL requirement by filing with the registrar the waiver form signed and approved by the ESL Program Director and the Chief Academic Officer.

The school has the same schedule for both first-time (new) applicants and transfer applicants.

The school operates on the semester system.The above schedules may change according to the conditions of the school.

All applicants should hold a Bachelor of Arts degree or be receiving a B.A. soon.

People who have equivalent degrees according to school by laws.

Admissions Qualifications

First-Time(New) Applicants

Students must have graduated from high school or be graduating in the near future.

Students who are considered to have equivalent qualifications or beyond according to school regulations can apply for admittance.

Current students at different colleges, students who have temporarily withdrawn from their schools, college graduates or students without TOFEL scores may apply.(Students who lack English proficiency can take ESL courses at BUC)

 

Transfer Applicants

Students must enroll in the same (or a similar) major to the one they have studied for at least one semester at a regular college inside or outside their home country.

Students who already have a bachelor’s degree or who are studying to obtain a bachelor’s degree may apply to transfer.

Students who are considered to have equivalent qualifications or beyond according to school regulations can apply to transfer.
